Having Some Trouble! :)

soooo... the other day i left the kids home w/ daddy for a bit. Aniah had lots to say when i got home about a very eventful morning....(at least for her)... This is what she said to me....

Aniah: "soooo mom, i had some trouble w/ daddy while you were at the Dr.'s"

Me:"you did?"

Aniah: "yeah, daddy said that if i didn't be a good girl he was going to take my carebear away from me."

Me: "What did you do?"

Aniah: "Well i just wanted more snacks, and daddy said no. So i kept asking for more and then i whined."

Me: "well then you shouldn't do taht. you should obey and then you wn't get your carebear taken away"

Aniah: "i know, but i just really wanted another snack and dady didn't understand about the fruitcup"

Me: "the fruitcup? you already had an applesauce."

Aniah: "i know but i just wanted a fruitcup and daddy didn't understand about that."

haha... obviously she wasn't realy having trouble, as in a hard time, she was telling that she "got" in trouble. lol... it was soooo cute though. i still don't know if she was telling on daddy for getting her in trouble...or just telling me her troubles! oh how i love that girl. :D

Pumpkin carving

Last night we carved pumpkins as a family for the first time. I have not carved a pumpkin since
i was probably 10 yrs old :) it was fun thing to do as a family. I even saved the seed to make roasted pumpkin seeds :)

After our pumpkins were all carved Aniah wanted to carry hers around. She carried it around w/ her all night and talked to it as though she had made a new friend. lol... too cute. then she got all 4 of them and made a "family" :) i just love that girl!

Jeremiah Participated by chewing on the cutouts of our pumpkins. yummmmy!!! which actually led to mommy having to dig a couple chunks out of his mouth :)

I'm glad we dicided to start a new tradition...it was a fun way to spend time w/ the family :)

TIP: i learned that pumpkins can be a great way to make your home smell nice. put a little cinnamon & other yummy smelling spices under the lid of your pumpkin and light your candle. ENJOY!!! :) Kudo's to BettyCrocker :)

The Fall

As the Fall is season is finally here we have been decorating for fall, dressing for fall and doing some fall activities. While trying to explain to Aniah what "Fall" is she says to me, but mom, it's not fall yet. "Why" i asked. and Ania responded with "because the leave did not come yet" (refering to the leaves on the ground).
Well the leaves are now here and it is starting to actually feel like fall. We are loving it. The smell of everyones chiminy's, the fresh crisp air & all the beautiful colors.
